Room Booking Policy and Terms & Conditions

This policy should be read and understood by all enquirers seeking to use Sonlife Church facilities.

In order for timely processing of your request, please submit your booking request as early as possible.

Use of church facilities

Sonlife Church is dedicated to the glory of God. Sonlifers are welcome to book the facilities for events outide of normal CG meetings eg: CG fellowship during term break, outreach event, movie night etc.

All ministry/CG leaders should ensure:

Activities carried out are lawful
All applicable Sonlife Church polices are adhered to
Duty of care, and other general health and safety practices are complied with
Users of facilities conduct themselves for the benefit of all members of the church, other facility users and employees.

All ministry/CG leaders are to abide by any other conditions stipulated for the use of the facilities, and not use or access any facilities not part of this application without prior arrangement.

After use, please leave the premises and facilities in the same state as you find them. The facilities, including floor, must be left in a clean, tidy and safe condition. Furniture and equipment are to be returned to their original place. Litter must be collected and put in the waste bins providedwhen the waste bins are full, they should be emptied into the large rubbish bins near the roller door. Alcohol, Drug and Smoking

Possession or consumption of alcohol or drugs is not permitted either in the building or on church grounds. Smoking is not permitted in the building.

Use of Equipment

Only approved AV equipment listed in this application form can be used for your event. Sonlifers shall not use or access any equipment not part of this application without prior arrangement. All users should ensure the equipment is:

Used in the proper manner
Treated with care
Returned promptly, clean and in good condition

Loss or Damage

All breakages, damage or loss must be reported to the church office immediately. The person or group using the equipment may, at the discretion of Sonlife Church, be charged for all or part of the cost of repairing or replacing the lost or damaged items.
